Explorers (14-18)

Ash Green Explorer Scouts are young people aged between 14 and 18 years old.

We meet in the Youth Centre on Monday evenings during term time. Meetings start at 8pm and finish at 9.30pm.

You you can expect a mix of activity, both mental and physical and designed to challenge.

Explorers have the opportunity to complete awards including Activity badges, The Chief Scout's Award, The Queen's Scout Award, The Duke of Edinburgh's Award and The Explorer Belt Award many of which are externally recognised and welcomed by potential employers and universities.

We are called 'Excelsior' because that is the Latin name for the north European ash tree that grows in New Ash Green - it also means 'to excel' which is what we plan to do.

Come along and see what fun and adventure you can have..
