Age ranges of our sections and status:
Beaver Scouts (6-8 years old) - CURRENTLY FULL
Cub Scouts (8 -10½ years old) - CURRENTLY FULL
Scouts (10½ - 14 years old)
- LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE
Explorers (14-18 years old)- SPACE AVAILABLE
Explorers - Ash Green Scout Group has an affiliation with Excelsior Explorers (14 to 18 years), who meet on Mondays. Their home base is at the New Ash Green Youth Centre, but meeting locations vary.
PLEASE NOTE: Any child who misses three nights in a row without good reason and without letting us know could lose his/her place.
Likewise some young people decide they don't like it and leave or their parents move out of the area. Spaces can, therefore, become available in Beavers at short notice so it is still worthwhile putting your child's name down.
It is better to put your child's name down on the waiting list as soon as you can - regardless of his or her age! Many parents have very young children, and some babies on the Waiting List, so that they have a really good chance of getting a place in Beavers when the child becomes age 6.
