Group helps Woodland group

The local Woodland trust asked the group for help. The woodland trust are a group of volunteers who look after the local countryside around our village. A small group of Scout volunteers helped, cutting back the ancient orchard in the centre of the village, with some of the apple trees being over 100 years old. The area was very overgrown and needed clearing to help the apple trees.
