Ash Green are Kent Scout Winners

Ash Green Scouts were awarded a Bronze award at their AGM by the Assistant District Commissioner for Scouts. The prestigious Grow 50 award was presented to Group Lead Volunteer, Peter Lewis, in recognition of the group's growth in 2023/24.

The Bronze award has only been awarded to 49 groups in Kent Scouts area, with only 10 groups achieving Silver. This means the group has grown by over 10 members.

Louise Banks, Trustee Chair of Ash Green Scouts, said;
"Ash Green Scouts remains the largest group in Swanley District, so this is a proud achievement that we have managed to grow still more. It's testament to the leadership team and the varied and exciting programme we put on for young people, that we have been recognised in this way.
