Ash Green Scout Group

Can you help?

Ash Green Scouts is one of the village's success stories - and now we're asking you to be part of it.

Two Beaver Scout Colonies, two Cub Scout Packs and two Scout Troops and an Explorer Unit make us one of the largest groups in the Kent. Whether it's one night a week, one hour a week or just a couple of hours a month, you can play a key role in the life of young people in the village and surrounding areas.

You'll have a great time with Ash Green Scouts - it's lots of fun. You can share your hobbies, use the expertise you have gained from work and even teach them the everyday things like learning to cook, simple house maintenance, electricals - we all have a vast array of skills that will be of interest to young people.

Here's a list of the latest vacancies brought about by our recent growth:

Cub team members

Beaver team members

Explorer team members

Occasional/Parent helper for Cubs

Uniformed team

We need Section team members across all units - Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. It's a couple of hours a week but great fun and hugely awarding.

If you don't want the commitment of being a Section team lead you could still be a great help as a Sectional team member or an Occasional Helper. Contact us to talk about the differences in the roles.

Complete the form below to request more information on how to become a team member.

Support Roles

Behind the scenes support is just as important as the uniformed team, from helping to set up or packing away camps, baking cakes for fund raising to joining in with our stalls at fetes and events, your support is always needed.

The Fundraising co-ordinator - to help manage our fundraising activities.

Trustee Committee Members - to help with the management of the Group (a bit like board of Governors in a school)

Contact us by completing the form below and we'll be in touch.
