Waiting List

To place your child on the waiting list:

Age ranges:
Beaver Scouts (6-8 years old)
Cub Scouts (8 -10)
Scouts (10 - 14)
Explorers (14-18)

Here is the latest status report on the waiting list:

November 2018

Beavers - no immediate vacancies. Please sign up for Waiting List.

Cubs - no immediate vacancies exist for Cubs. Please sign up for Waiting List.

Scouts - a few vacancies in Timber Troop (for 10.5 to 14 year olds) which meets on Tuesdays from 6:30pm - 8:30pm at New Ash Green Youth Centre. Click here to apply.

Explorers - Vacancies exist. Excelsior Explorers (14 to 18 years) meet on Mondays at the New Ash Green Youth Centre.  Click here for more information.

Any child who misses three nights in a row without good reason and without letting us know will lose his/her place. Likewise some young people decide they don't like it and leave or their parents move out of the area. Spaces can, therefore, become available in Beavers at short notice so it is still worthwhile putting your child's name down.

It is better to put your child's name down on the waiting list as soon as you can - regardless of his or her age! Many parents have very young children, and some babies on the Waiting List, so that they have a really good chance of getting a place in Beavers when the child becomes age 6.
