Carol service

23rd December 2012

Carol service

We have been invited to the Service of Nine Lessons and Carols at Ash Church on Sunday evening 23rd December at 6.30pm and asked if one of the boys or girls might like to read one of the Lessons.

Parents, family and friends have also been to the Service with the promise of mulled wine and mince pies at the end.

The Leader team think this would be an excellent way of rounding off such a great year with the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts all together in uniform singing carols and parents family and friends joining in. It is also a terrific way of heralding the start of Christmas.

Says Group Scout Leader Emma Jones: "The year 2012 has been a great one for Ash Green Scouts and the invitation to St Peter and St Paul Church in Ash where we have been made very welcome at a family service and on Remembrance Sunday would be a great way of rounding it off.

"I'll be sending out more reminders but very much hope you, your Beaver, Cub or Scout, family, relatives and friends can join us for this great occasion."
