Michael is awarded the Chief Scouts Commendation

I am absolutely delighted to share with you the news that Michael Banks, our Jungle Cub Pack Leader (Akela) was awarded with the Chief Scouts Commendation for Good Service by our District Commissioner, Terry Elcock last Friday, 31st January 2019. This very special Award is given in recognition of the very real contribution made to the Scout Association, and Ash Green Scout Group, by Mike. This award is only the second such Award ever issued to Ash Green Scout Group and is well deserved. Mike's commitment to the Group has been outstanding and his support has been unwavering. He also involves himself in a substantial amount of voluntary support work with a local Primary school. I am delighted that his contribution to the success of Ash Green Scout Group has been recognised and rewarded. Well Done Mike!
