Adult Recruitment Week - Opportunities

Click here to meet the current leader team

Beavers___investiture.JPGAt present we have several exciting opportunities for adult leaders and administrators:

Scout Leader - our current leader has just been made Scout Section Commissioner for all 10 Troops in our District. You'll be in charge of 14 great young people who are as keen as mustard.

They're currently working on their Community Challenge which sees them helping the elderly of New Ash Green and they're soon off to local police headquarters.

Scouts.jpgYou'll be given loads of help and support, especially as the current leader is here until August 2010 to ensure a smooth handover - but you can take control whenever you are ready,

Assistant Scout Leaders - ideally we'd love one female and one male Assistant Scout Leader to complete the leader team.

Click here to see a formal job description for these positions. This is only a guide and do remember you'll have full support and proper training.

Assistant Cub Scout Leaders - we have a great Pack of 30 boys and girls who work really hard and do loads of badgework. It'll be a great chance for you to share your hobbies with them and they'll certainly keep you fit and healthy!

Assistant Beaver Scout Leaders - a highly successful Colony getting for for 30 young people which meets one hour a week on a Tuesday. Again we need Assistant Leaders.

Check out the Assistant Leaders' job description for both Beavers and Cubs.

Sectional Assistants - All three sections would appreciate the support of Sectional Assistants to help us provide a balanced programme.

Not all roles are face to face with young people:

Website editor/webmaster - the Group is getting to the size and is doing so many things that we now require a dedicated website editor.

Administrators - we have a professional management committee to help run the Group. We would certainly appreciate as much support here as possible. It takes, on average, one hour a month.
