Gift Aid: Attention all UK taxpayers!
The Gift Aid scheme allows Ash Green Scouts to claim tax back from HMRC on all your subscriptions and donations. If you are a UK taxpayer and pay subs please print and complete the Gift Aid Declaration (confirming you are happy for us to reclaim the tax) and return it to a Scout Leader. You can declare that you would like all gifts of money made in the past 6 years and all future gifts of money to be treated as Gift Aid donations.
The Gift Aid Declaration should also be attached to any other one-off donations made. A donation of £10 could be worth an extra £2.50 to us, and it doesn't cost you a penny!
The Sponsorship and Gift Aid Declaration form can be used to make the most of Gift Aid for sponsored events. UK taxpayers just need to ensure that they have completed their full name and address and ticked the Gift Aid box.
