Your chance for your child to bring to try out Scouts to see if they like it. If your child already knows someone in the Scouts, then they can come as their guest

If you live in the village - or are new to the area - and you don't know anyone in the Scouts, your child is still more than welcome.  If you want to try it out then bring your child to the Vilage Hall on Friday 18th October at 7.30pm. You will need to bring the child with you to the start of the meeting and collect him or her at the end.

Scouts start at 1930 and end at 2115.

What will happen on the night? It will be a typical Scout evening. You'll play games, learn new skills and take part in activities. At the moment we're working on our Outdoor Challenge Badge, so you'll learn a little about hiking and mapwork with the rest of the Scouts on the evening. If you do stay, the work you do will count towards your first badge as the assessment for this badge is at the end of October and you will have plenty of time to learn the skills.
