Try Cubs out for free - 15-09-2009
If you live in the village - or are new to the area your child is more than welcome to try out Cubs for a couple of weeks free of charge to see if he or she likes it.
Cubs start at 1830 and run until 2000.
If you're the parent of a child who wants to try it out then simply turn up at the Village Hall. You will need to bring the child with you to the start of the meeting and collect him or her at the end.
What will happen on the night? It will be a typical Cub Scout evening. You'll play games and take part in activities. At the moment we're working on our Global Challenge, so you'll learn a little about other countries with the rest of the Scouts on the evening. If you do stay, the work you do will count towards your first badge.
