Top award for Cub Liam - 06-11-2009
Congratulations to Liam McFall, our Senior Sixer, who has become the first Cub Scout at Ash Green EVER to win the Chief Scout's Silver Award - the highest Award a Cub Scout can gain.
Liam did most of the work for the badge when at Longfield & Hartley but joined Ash Green when Akela Kevin Malham started here in September.
Liam is an incredibly hard working Cub Scout who is always helpful at meetings and he will make a great Scout one day. Alas that will not be at Ash Green as his dad John is Scout Leader at Longfield & Hartley but he will always be welcome here - we are all so proud of him.
He is pictured here with another top award winner, Eynsford & Farningham Explorer Benedict who won the Platimum Award. They're pictured doing map and compass which is pretty apt as we have no doubt that Liam will follow in Benedict's footsteps - not only for that award but also to be a Queen's Scout.
